Vexie and the Geargrinders Raid Guide

Encounter Overview

Vexie & the Geargrinder is a single-phase fight with an intermission. The primary goal is to prevent the boss from reaching 100 energy by crashing bikes into it to remove its Protective Plating.

Phase 1

Normal

Setup

  • The boss should be centered and stationary as much as possible.

Key Mechanics

Protective Plating
  • The boss starts with 4 stacks.

  • One stack is removed per bike crash.

Call Bikers
  • Red lines appear across the arena, showing the travel path of the bikers. Players need to avoid these lines, as bikers race across until they crash into the wall.

  • Bikers are stunned once they hit the wall and need to be destroyed. Once destroyed players can interact with the bike.

  • Players jump onto the bike with a new action bar. Press the 1 key and aim the line at the boss, the bike flies off hitting the boss and removing a stack of Plating. This also deals a burst of raid damage and sends out a bunch of circles.

Tank Buster
  • Knocks the tank backwards applying a bleed and a 200% damage increase debuff that lasts 25 seconds.

Other Abilities

Spew Oil
  • Targets players with a purple ring, applies a 12 second DOT.

Incendiary Fire
  • Targets players with an arrow, launches a bunch of projectiles that track players with red rings for 6 seconds. Run this away from other players.

Exhaust Fumes
  • Applies a 6 second DOT to the raid that gets stronger with each use.
