Stix Bunkjunker Raid Guide


Encounter Overview

The Stix Bunkjunker fight is a single-phase fight with a one-time intermission. The raid needs to constantly roll up trash with a special ball rolling mechanic, deal with constantly spawning adds, and be aware of their spacing.


Phase 1

Normal

Setup

  • When in control of a garbage ball, it is important to clear as much of the middle of the arena as possible.


Key Mechanics

Electromagnetic Sorting
  • Triggers at 100 energy, marks a bunch of circles and selects random players to control rolling garbage balls. The tank with aggro is always chosen.

  • This also spawns at least 1 large bomb, and the amount of bombs spawned increases with each Sorting.

Rolling Rubbish
  • Players in control of a garbage ball will roll around the arena picking up garbage piles. You gain an extra bar that shows the size of your ball, you want to fill this to full before smashing into a Bomb or the boss himself.

  • Start by rolling up small garbage piles until the bar is halfway and then roll up the big garbage piles.

Doomsplosive
  • The large bomb spawned has a timer and if it reaches 0 it deals massive raid damage.

  • Rolling a max size garbage ball into the bomb, detonates it dealing raid damage but much less.

Demolish
  • Big damage and applies a 100% damage increase debuff, lasts for 50 seconds.

  • Taunt swap after the Electromagnetic Sorting.


Other Abilities

Incinerator
  • Targets random players with a red ring for 3 seconds.

  • If you touch a garbage pile with this it ignites dealing raid damage.

Toxic Fumes
  • Burning garbage piles apply a stacking DOT that deals damage every second. This lasts until the pile is burned away or rolled up.

Adds
  • Scrapmasters - Scrap Rockets this is an interruptible 9 second channel.

  • Hyenas - they only melee attack.

  • Adds rolled up in garbage balls will take 100% increased damage once the ball is destroyed.


Role Specific Duties

Tanks
  • Taunt swap after Electromagnetic Sorting.

  • Help group up and interrupt the adds.

  • Constantly move the boss to whatever clear areas there are.

Healers
  • Raid damage during Electromagnetic Sorting.

  • Raid damage increases with each active burning pile.

  • Burst of raid damage when bombs are detonated.

DPS
  • Kill and interrupt adds.

  • Make sure bombs are destroyed before running into the boss with your ball.

  • Roll over adds.

LFR

Intermission - 75% HP

Normal

Overview

Boss goes immune to damage and flies around throwing circles everywhere. After a few seconds he will mark a large area of where he will smash down, so avoid this.


Key Mechanics

Overdrive
  • Boss is immune to damage and flies around the arena throwing multiple circles around.

Trash Compactor
  • Marks an area to smash into. This deals a burst of raid damage and knocks everyone backwards from the impact location.

Maximum Output
  • After Overdrive the boss gains a permanent 25% attack speed buff, plus his Incinerator targets an additional garbage pile to burn.


Role Specific Duties

Tanks
  • Group up any remaining adds.

Healers
  • Constant raid damage and a burst of raid damage when he smashes into the ground.

DPS
  • Kill any remaining adds.

Overview

Final Tips

  • Clearing the center of the arena is priority!

  • Bombs must be destroyed! Don't tunnel the boss!

  • Watch your positioning - burning garbage can overwhelm your healers!
