Rik Reverb Raid Guide
Encounter Overview
The Rik Reverb fight is a single-phase fight with an intermission. The raid needs to constantly drain amplifiers before they go haywire and the intermission is all about survival.
Phase 1
Normal
Setup
There should be at least a few players designated to draining the Amplifiers.
Key Mechanics
Amplification
Places two Amplifiers, one underneath the boss and one near a random ranged player.
Each active Amplifier deals raid damage every 2 seconds, this increases with the more Amplifiers.
Amplifiers slowly charge over time and if their bar is completely full, it deals massive raid damage every 2 seconds.
Players drain these by running over and clicking them, they also take damage while draining.
The boss will charge these bars if he's too close, so tanks will keep him away.
Echoing Chant
Amplifiers send out multiple sound clouds shown by white circles, that radiate from each Amplifier in 4 different directions.
If hit this applies a stackable 6 second DOT.
Sonic Blast
Each melee attack is a small frontal cone that applies a stacking debuff increasing damage taken by 100% for 10 seconds.
Swap around 7-9 stacks.
Keep the boss facing away from the raid.
Other Abilities
Sound Cannon
Targets and tracks a player with a line attack. Stand still so others can avoid.
Faulty Zap
Targets multiple players with a ring. Deals damage over 12 seconds and increases damage taken by 75%.
Players with this shouldn't drain Amplifiers unless using a major defensive.
